When you finish experiencing this letter,
a breeze will pass through the depths of your heart.
And quietly, your own journey will begin.

Each letter is a one-of-a-kind art piece:

-Words: a sound of memory

-Photograph: a fragment of memory

-Scent: a lingering trace of memory

delivered to you as a letter on the wind.

This wind is also the sound of life from TETSU-LAW.
This time, from Goto.

Leaving behind 24 years of life in Tokyo, I came to the Goto Islands—
To a place where I could return to myself,
reclaim who I am,
and create something I long to offer to you, who keeps going every day.

This project, “Letters from Goto,” began as a record of memory—
a personal journey of rebirth,
a way for one artist to live again,
to quietly rebuild a life through art.

It is more than just a product.
It is a record of my restart,
a fragment of a story

[Background of the Project – The Story]
・Moving to Goto & Starting YouTube
For 24 years, I lived in Tokyo.
I had achieved many things, yet I felt a deep emptiness inside.
A major turning point in life led me to lose many of those things, and eventually, I arrived at the Goto Islands—a place to begin again.
Here, I started documenting my journey of regeneration through a YouTube series.

・When the idea was born
This project, "Letters from Goto", was first conceived inside a car on October 16, 2024, during episode #15 of my YouTube channel.
From around 14:24 in the video, you can hear the moment I, TETSU-LAW, first spoke of the idea.
Since that moment in October—and again in December—I had been quietly hoping to make it real someday.

・Meeting hisato – And how the idea turned into a gift
In December 2024, hisato responded to my open call for help on YouTube.
During one of our meetings, I learned that his birthday had just passed.
Since he had been supporting me so much, I wanted to offer him something in return.

That day, he told me that he had just bought an expensive camera and lens as a gift to himself.
He also shared a dream: that one day, when he had both time and money, he would like to spend some quiet, solitary time in a hotel—despite having a family.

That’s when the idea came to me:
Why not turn Letters from Goto into a project we do together?
Why not use part of the sales to gift him that hotel stay?
Why not also give him a platform to use his new gear, to create and sell his own work?

This project is deeply tied to my personal journey and my YouTube story—my rebirth from the Goto Islands.
And now, I invite you to support this project not just as a purchase, but as a shared journey.

【企画の背景（ストーリー）】

・五島移住そしてYouTubeで配信
24年間、東京で生きていました。
様々なものを手にして、それでも空虚だった。
人生を大転換することが起こり、様々なものを失い
人生の再出発の地として五島に辿り着きました。
五島に来てYouTubeにて人生再生物語を配信し始めました。

・いつ思いついたか
そもそもこの企画は、YouTubeの#15の回
2024年10月16日に車の中でTETSU-LAWが「五島からの便り」という企画を思いついたところからスタートしています。
下の映像　14:24から話しています。

この企画を2024年10月そして、12月にいつかやりたいなと思っていました。

・hisatoとの出逢い〜贈り物にしようと思った経緯

2024年12月YouTubeでお手伝い募集に手を上げてくれたhisato。彼とミーティングをしている中で彼の誕生日が数日前だったと聞き、私はいつもお世話になっているので何か贈りたいなと思ったのです。

その日の話の中で、「自分へのプレゼントかのように高額なカメラとレンズを買ったという話」
さらに「家族がいても一人時間は大切で、いつか時間とお金に余裕があったらホテルで一人時間を過ごしてみたい」というではありませんか。

そこで、私TETSU-LAWは考えました。「五島からの便り」というプロジェクト、この企画をhisatoと一緒に行い、商品の売上からホテルの代金を捻出してプレゼントするということ。そして買ったばかりの機材で自分の作品を創り、販売し、お金を得るという機会と場をつくってあげようと思ったのです。

これは私のYouTubeとも連動し、私自身が五島列島から人生再スタートする上での企画でもあります。
